Bio:

Mur was an ancient statue of a forgotten goddess, animated by a High Priest particularly fond of magical rituals to tend to the temple’s various gardens. For decades, and through various High Priests and Priestesses, Mur cared for the plants or stood motionless.

When the temple was attacked (Mur has not described the attackers yet), the current High Priest forbid Mur from taking up arms to assist in the defense. Instead she stood motionless as priests and children died before her.

When the last priest fell, Mur’s life did not end, but the temple’s power to command her vanished. Calmly she picked up a nearby peasant weapon and exacted vengeance on the temple’s attackers, one by one.

Seeking the source of the attackers as best she can, Mur has made her way to the town of Autumn.

She has recently been spending time in the town’s graveyard, tending to the plots and gardens. There she has struck up an alliance with the local murder of Crows, gaining their favour by protecting their hatchlings from predators and keeping the graveyard clean and free of robbers.

She also recently received a vision of a familiar figure in a hooded cloak, wandering through the forest.
